Terms and Conditions
Introduction
Funcrash Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website available at https://funcrash.com and all related or connected services (collectively, the “Service”). These Terms form a binding legal agreement between the customer (the “Customer”) and Funcrash. By opening an account (the “Account”) and using the Service, the Customer accepts these Terms and any future amendments published from time to time.
Before accepting these Terms, review all information carefully, including transaction data, rules, regulations, and payment methods relevant to use of the Service. Then retain a copy of these Terms together with the relevant records for reference. For any clarification, contact Customer Support at the details set out below.
Funcrash communicates with Customers only via email sent to the registered email address (“Registered Email Address”) provided during account creation. All official communication uses the following address:
- Email: support@funcrash.com
Funcrash may amend these FunCrash Terms and Conditions and any linked documents at any time. When changes are not substantial, prior notice may not be provided. For material changes, Customers receive advance notice and may need to reconfirm acceptance before the changes take effect. If a Customer objects to any change, that Customer must stop using the Service immediately, and the termination provisions apply. Continued use of the Service confirms agreement to the updated FunCrash Terms and Conditions. Any unsettled activity that arose before new Terms take effect remains subject to the previous Terms.
For guidance on how to use the Service, refer to these Terms or contact the Customer Service Department at support@funcrash.com.
1. Customer Obligations
When using the Service, the Customer agrees to meet the following obligations at all times:
- The Customer is at least 18 years of age or above the legal age of majority in the applicable jurisdiction and can enter into a binding legal agreement.
- The Customer accesses the Service only from a country where such use is lawful. The Customer bears full responsibility for ensuring that use of the Service complies with local law and, where necessary, for seeking local legal advice.
- When sending money to Funcrash, the Customer holds the authority to use the selected payment instrument, including any debit card, credit card, or alternative method.
- Use of the Service does not create any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest.
- The Customer has never failed to settle, or attempted to avoid settling, any liability associated with activities on the Service.
- The Customer acts exclusively on a personal basis and not on behalf of third parties or for commercial purposes.
By using the Service, the Customer understands that financial loss can occur under these FunCrash Terms and Conditions and accepts full responsibility for any such loss. The Customer must use the Service only for legitimate purposes and must not manipulate any market or any element of the Service in bad faith or in a way that damages the integrity of the Service or the reputation of Funcrash.
Furthermore, the Customer must not rely on information obtained in breach of any applicable legislation when using the Service. All payments to Funcrash must be made in good faith. The Customer must not attempt to reverse any valid payment or take steps that cause reversal by a third party in order to avoid legitimate liabilities.
The Customer must act in good faith in relation to the Service at all times and for all activities carried out through the Service.
2. Registration
To access the Service, the Customer must complete registration personally and accept these FunCrash Terms and Conditions. Funcrash reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse any registration application without any obligation to provide a reason.
Before using the Service, the Customer must:
- Complete the registration form accurately and in full.
- Read and accept the FunCrash Terms and Conditions.
- Undergo verification checks as required to become a verified customer.
Verification may require valid proof of identification and supporting documentation. This process can include, but does not need to be limited to, the following:
- Picture identification such as a passport, driver’s license, or national ID card.
- A recent utility bill listing the Customer’s name and address as proof of residence.
Funcrash may suspend activity or restrict account options until the required information is received. This procedure follows applicable regulatory standards, including gaming regulation and anti–money laundering requirements. The Customer must also fund the account using the payment methods listed in the payment section of the website.
The Customer must provide complete and accurate personal information, including name, surname, address, and email address, and must keep these details updated. Failure to maintain correct contact information may result in missing important account notifications or updates to these FunCrash Terms and Conditions. Funcrash identifies and communicates with Customers via the Registered Email Address, so each Customer must:
- Maintain an active, unique email account.
- Provide the correct email address.
- Inform Funcrash of any changes to the Registered Email Address.
Each Customer is fully responsible for the security of the Registered Email Address and must prevent its use by third parties. Funcrash bears no responsibility for any loss or damage that arises from communications to or from the Registered Email Address. If Funcrash cannot reach a Customer via email, Funcrash may suspend the account until a reachable address is provided.
If a Customer intentionally provides false or inaccurate personal information, Funcrash may immediately suspend the account by written notice and, in some cases, pursue legal action and inform relevant authorities.
Only one account per Customer is permitted. Funcrash may close any account if multiple accounts exist for the same individual. This restriction also covers the use of representatives, relatives, associates, affiliates, related parties, connected persons, or any third party acting on the Customer’s behalf.
To confirm financial standing and identity, Funcrash may use third‑party information providers regarded as necessary.
The Customer must keep the password confidential and secure. When correct account information is supplied, Funcrash may reasonably assume that all activity, including actions to move funds in or out, originates from the Customer. Passwords must:
- Contain at least one letter, one number, and one special character.
- Have at least eight characters.
The Customer should change passwords regularly and never share them with third parties. Any failure to protect the password remains the Customer’s risk and responsibility. After each session, the Customer must log out of the Service.
If any account information appears compromised, such as suspected misuse by a third party or discovery of the password by another person, the Customer must immediately notify Funcrash via support@funcrash.com using the Registered Email Address. If the Registered Email Address itself is compromised, Funcrash may request additional information or documentation to verify identity and will suspend the account as soon as such an incident becomes known. Until suspension takes effect, the Customer remains responsible for all activity on the account, including use by unauthorized third parties.
The Customer must not transmit any content or information from the Service to another customer or third party via screen capture or similar method, nor display such information in any alternative format that differs from standard access through the Service URL.
During registration, the Customer selects the operating currency for the account. This currency applies to all activity, including balances and movements within the Service. Some payment methods do not support all currencies; in such cases, a processing currency appears together with a conversion calculator.
The sign‑up page acts as an invitation to treat, not as an obligation to open an account. Funcrash has full discretion over whether to proceed with opening an account and is not required to provide reasons for any refusal. Upon receipt of an application, Funcrash may request additional information or documentation to comply with regulatory and legal obligations.
3. Restricted Use
Prohibited Use of the Service
The Customer must not use the Service in any of the circumstances below:
- The Customer is under 18 years of age or below the legal age of majority in the applicable jurisdiction.
- The Customer cannot enter into a binding legal agreement with Funcrash.
Furthermore, the Client must refrain from the below activities when using the Service:
- Gathering usernames, email addresses, and other information of other users through any means such as unsolicited emails or spamming.
- Disrupt, affect, or influence the activities of other customers or the operation of the Service in an undue manner.
- Promote unsolicited commercial advertisements, affiliate links, or any form of solicitation. Funcrash may remove such content without notice.
The Customer cannot sell, transfer, or assign the account to any third party and cannot acquire another individual’s account. The Customer may not transfer funds between accounts in any manner.
If the Customer uses the Service for unauthorized purposes, Funcrash may terminate the account immediately upon written notice and, where appropriate, take legal action.
4. Privacy
Funcrash protects and processes all information provided in strict accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Personal information will not be disclosed except where required to do so under legal procedures performed by authorized parties. Examples of these parties are regulatory agencies, law enforcement agencies, anti-fraud organizations, anti-money laundering organizations, and financial institutions such as banks and payment providers.
Upon registration, personal information is stored in Funcrash systems. This storage may involve transferring data outside the European Economic Area to jurisdictions with different data‑protection standards. By agreeing to these Terms, the Customer consents to such transfers where required for Service provision, as further detailed in the Privacy Policy.
5. Account Management
Funcrash supports accounts in multiple currencies and does not extend credit for use of the Service.
Funcrash may close or suspend an account and refund funds if the Customer fails to comply with these FunCrash Terms and Conditions, if such action is necessary to safeguard the integrity or fairness of the Service, or if other reasonable grounds exist. Prior notice may not always be possible. Funcrash may also:
- Suspend an account at any time without prior notice and return all funds, while honoring contractual obligations that have already matured.
- Refuse, restrict, cancel, or limit any activity at any time and for any reason, including activity perceived as fraudulent or designed to circumvent limits or system rules.
If Funcrash closes or suspends an account due to non‑compliance, Funcrash may cancel or void any related activity.
If funds are credited to an account by mistake, the amount remains the property of Funcrash. Upon identifying such an error, Funcrash will inform the Customer and remove the amount from the account.
If an account balance becomes overdrawn for any reason, the Customer owes Funcrash the overdrawn amount. The Customer must notify Funcrash promptly upon becoming aware of any error relating to the account.
Customers may request self‑exclusion from https://funcrash.com by contacting support@funcrash.com via the Registered Email Address. Customers may also set limits on activity and potential loss by emailing support@funcrash.com from the Registered Email Address. Implementation of new or increased limits occurs diligently; however, any request to remove or reduce limits takes effect only after a seven‑day cooling‑off period.
The Customer cannot transfer, sell, or pledge the account to another person. This prohibition covers any asset of value linked to the account, including balances, rights, or claims of any kind, whether legal or commercial. It also applies to encumbrance, pledging, assigning, usufruct arrangements, brokering, hypothecation, or gifting through fiduciaries or other third parties.
To close an account, the Customer must send an email from the Registered Email Address to support@funcrash.com.
6. Funcrash Terms and Conditions: Funds and Service Rules
These Funcrash Terms of Use explain how account funds, payments, service errors, event results, notices, and age requirements apply. They form part of the FunCrash User Agreement and support the wider FunCrash Website Policies. The phrase “Funcrash terms and conditons” may also refer to this document.
Adding Funds
Customers may add funds through any method listed on the website. All funds should match the account currency.
If a different currency is used, Funcrash converts the amount at the daily exchange rate fromwww.oanda.com or at the bank’s current exchange rate. Funcrash then credits the converted amount to the account.
Fees may apply to account funding and withdrawals. The relevant details appear on the account payment page. Customers remain responsible for bank charges linked to their transactions. The Payment Options pages list any exceptions.
Funcrash does not operate as a financial institution. Instead, third-party electronic payment processors handle debit and credit card transactions. Funcrash credits a card transaction only after the card issuer provides approval and an authorisation code. If the issuer rejects the transaction, Funcrash does not credit the related amount.
Funcrash holds customer funds in the client account that matches the selected currency.
Funcrash does not pay interest on account balances. Any interest earned on client accounts belongs to Funcrash.
Customers must not add funds that come from illegal activities.
7. Withdrawing Funds
Customers may request some or all of their available balance within the limits shown on the withdrawal page.
All withdrawals must use the account currency unless Funcrash provides different instructions.
Funcrash may request identity documents before processing a withdrawal. Funcrash may also request these documents at any time during the customer relationship.
As a standard rule, Funcrash sends withdrawals to the original debit card, credit card, bank account, or payment method used for account funding. In some cases, Funcrash may approve another method after completing additional security checks.
If an account becomes inaccessible, inactive, locked, or closed, the customer should contact Customer Service through the Funcrash website.
8. Payment Transactions and Processors
Customers remain responsible for all amounts owed to Funcrash. Each customer must make payments in good faith and must not reverse a valid transaction to avoid a legitimate liability.
If a customer starts a chargeback, payment refusal, or reversal, that customer must reimburse Funcrash for the related amount and any resulting loss. Funcrash may also charge an administration fee, or its equivalent in the relevant currency, for each such action.
Funcrash may appoint third-party electronic payment processors or merchant banks to handle customer transactions. Customers must follow the terms of those providers when Funcrash makes those terms available and they do not conflict with this agreement.
Funcrash may monitor all website transactions. This process helps prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. Funcrash reports suspicious transactions to the relevant authority under the law that governs the transaction.
9. Service Errors
Customers must notify Funcrash immediately after discovering an error in the Service or a related process.
If a system or process error affects an account activity, Funcrash may cancel that activity. Funcrash may also take reasonable steps to correct the error.
Funcrash does not accept responsibility for direct or indirect costs, expenses, losses, or claims that result from communication failures, system faults, software defects, or viruses connected with the Service or related payments.
A system fault or connection failure may cancel affected activities. If a technical issue affects price calculations, charges, fees, commissions, account credits, or currency conversions, Funcrash may cancel the affected activities. Funcrash may also remove related amounts from the account.
Funcrash takes reasonable steps to publish accurate prices and information. However, a human or system error may cause an activity to receive a price that differs greatly from the general market price. A price may also appear clearly incorrect based on the event’s probability.
In such cases, Funcrash may cancel the affected activity. Funcrash may also cancel any activity that began after an event started.
Funcrash may recover any amount paid in error and correct the account balance. Examples include an incorrect price or an incorrect event result.
If the account lacks enough funds, Funcrash may request payment of the outstanding amount. Funcrash may also cancel, reduce, or remove pending activities, whether or not those activities used funds created by the error.
10. General Rules
Sport-specific rules take priority when they conflict with a general rule.
Funcrash determines the official event result on the settlement date. Funcrash does not recognise protested or overturned decisions for account settlement purposes.
If an event stops after it begins, Funcrash settles the result under the sport-specific rules shown on the website.
Posted results become final after 72 hours. Funcrash does not accept queries after this period.
During the 72-hour review period, Funcrash may reset or correct a result only because of:
- Human error.
- A system error.
- A mistake by the official results source.
Funcrash sets minimum and maximum amounts for sports events. These limits may change without advance written notice. Funcrash may also adjust limits for individual accounts.
11. Communications and Notices
Customers must send all notices under these Terms to support@funcrash.com.
Funcrash usually sends notices through the website or to the Registered Email Address listed on the relevant account. Funcrash chooses the communication method unless these Terms state otherwise.
When the Service does not operate through Funcrash, both parties must send notices in writing and in English. The customer must send the notice from the Registered Email Address. Funcrash must send its response to that same address.
The FunCrash Platform Rules and related notices may also appear on the website. Customers should review the website and Registered Email Address regularly.
12. Events Beyond Our Control
Funcrash does not accept responsibility for a delay or failure that results from an event outside its reasonable control. This applies even when Funcrash takes reasonable steps to prevent the event.
Such events may include:
- Natural disasters.
- Trade disputes or labour disputes.
- Power failures.
- Government action or failure.
- Telecommunications failure or disruption.
- Delays or failures caused by third parties.
Funcrash does not accept responsibility for resulting loss or damage. In these circumstances, Funcrash may suspend or cancel the Service without liability.
13. Liability
To the extent that applicable law allows, Funcrash does not compensate customers for reasonably foreseeable direct or indirect loss caused by a failure to meet these Terms.
This limit does not apply when the law imposes a duty that Funcrash breaches. It also does not apply to death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Funcrash does not accept responsibility when the failure results from:
- The customer’s own action or fault.
- A third party that has no connection with Funcrash’s duties under these Terms.
- Communication networks, congestion, connection problems, or customer equipment.
- An event that Funcrash or its suppliers could not reasonably foresee or prevent.
The Service supports personal consumer use. Therefore, Funcrash does not accept responsibility for business losses.
If Funcrash becomes liable under these Terms, its total liability will not exceed the amount linked to the relevant account activity or Service feature that caused the claim.
Before using the Service, customers should:
- Check that their device supports the Service.
- Confirm that the Service suits their device and software.
- Install suitable antivirus protection.
- Take reasonable steps to protect their device from harmful programs.
14. Use by Persons Below the Legal Age
Funcrash may suspend an account if it suspects that a customer was under 18, or below the legal age in the relevant jurisdiction, when the customer carried out an account activity.
Funcrash may also suspend the account after receiving information that the customer acted for a person below the legal age. The suspension prevents further account activity and withdrawals while Funcrash investigates the matter.
If the investigation confirms that:
- The customer was below the legal age when the activity took place; or
- The customer acted on behalf of a person below the legal age;
then the following rules apply:
- Funcrash retains all account credits that it has already issued or still needs to issue.
- The customer must return all credits gained through activity by a person below the legal age. If the customer does not comply, Funcrash may recover the related costs.
- Funcrash refunds the customer’s original account funds, excluding credits gained through activity by a person below the legal age.
This rule also applies when the customer is over 18 but uses the Service in a jurisdiction that sets a higher legal age.
If Funcrash suspects a breach of this section or an attempt to bypass it through fraud, Funcrash may take appropriate investigative action. This action may include notifying the relevant law-enforcement authorities.
Questions About the Terms

15. Funcrash Terms and Conditions: AML and KYC Policy
This section forms part of the FunCrash Terms of Use, FunCrash User Agreement, FunCrash Platform Rules, and FunCrash Website Policies. It explains how Funcrash prevents financial crime and verifies customer identity.
Anti-Money Laundering and KYC Policy
Funcrash actively prevents the use of its services for financial crime, money laundering, and terrorist financing.
Strict compliance with applicable regulations protects Funcrash’s management and staff from legal and regulatory risk. It also protects the reputation of Funcrash from damage linked to financial crime.
Funcrash follows these core principles:
- Every staff member fulfils the duties linked to their role.
- Commercial interests never override Funcrash’s AML commitment.
- Funcrash appoints a Money Laundering Reporting Officer or Nominated Officer (MLRO).
- Funcrash also appoints a deputy MLRO. The CEO acts as the deputy.
- Funcrash follows all applicable AML and CFT laws, rules, and regulations.
The compliance programme focuses on:
- Building a strong culture of compliance.
- Verifying customer identities through suitable checks.
- Applying Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
- Training staff to understand their legal duties.
- Training staff to report suspicious activity.
- Monitoring customer relationships and transactions on an ongoing basis.
Funcrash maintains policies, procedures, and internal controls for regulatory compliance. The company reviews and updates these controls regularly. This process helps Funcrash respond to legal changes and operational developments.
15.1 Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing
Money laundering includes the following actions:
- Converting or transferring property while knowing that the property comes from criminal activity. The purpose may involve hiding the illegal source or helping another person avoid legal consequences.
- Hiding or disguising the true nature, source, location, movement, ownership, or rights linked to property that comes from criminal activity.
- Acquiring, possessing, or using property while knowing at the time of receipt that the property comes from criminal activity.
- Participating in, associating with, attempting, assisting, facilitating, or advising another person to carry out any action listed above.
Money laundering still applies when the activity that generated the property took place in another Member State or in a third country.
Terrorist financing means providing or collecting funds, directly or indirectly, when the person intends or knows that the funds will support a terrorist act, in whole or in part.
15.2 AML and CFT Organisation
Funcrash assigns clear responsibilities for its AML and CFT programme. These responsibilities apply to senior management, the MLRO, the deputy MLRO, and all relevant staff.
15.2.1 Senior Management
Senior management oversees Funcrash’s compliance policy. It ensures that the company provides enough resources for staff training and risk-control systems.
These resources may include computer software that supports compliance oversight.
Senior management receives monthly compliance reports from the MLRO. It reviews those reports and approves changes when the MLRO recommends them.
Senior management includes:
- The Board of Directors.
- The Executive Management Committee.
- The MLRO.
15.2.2 Staff Responsibilities
Staff must understand the AML Compliance Policy and their assigned responsibilities. They must follow company procedures and collect all documents required under the compliance manual.
Staff must also report suspicious or unusual activity to the MLRO.
15.3 Compliance Policies and Procedures
15.3.1 Risk-Based Approach
Funcrash applies a risk-based approach to money laundering and terrorist financing risks.
This approach includes:
- Assessing the risk linked to customer relationships and business activities.
- Applying controls that reduce identified risks.
- Keeping customer identity, beneficial ownership, and relationship information current.
- Monitoring customer relationships and transactions continuously.
Customer identification remains a basic regulatory requirement. However, Funcrash applies enhanced due diligence when the risk level requires it.
The risk-based approach directs resources toward the areas that need the most attention. Funcrash manages these risks within its approved tolerance level.
15.3.2 Risk Mitigation
Risk mitigation uses controls that reduce the risk of money laundering and terrorist financing. Funcrash applies these controls after reviewing the relevant risk level.
When a risk assessment shows a high risk, Funcrash creates and applies a suitable mitigation strategy.
Funcrash’s controls focus on:
- Products, services, customers, relationships, locations, and other areas that criminals may misuse.
- Reporting compliance initiatives and weaknesses to senior management.
- Reporting corrective actions and suspicious transaction reports to senior management.
- Maintaining programme continuity during changes to management, staff, or company structure.
- Meeting record-keeping and reporting duties.
- Updating controls promptly when legal requirements change.
15.3.3 Risk Assessment
Funcrash analyses the threats and weaknesses that may expose the business to money laundering or terrorist financing.
The risk assessment records and considers:
- Products, services, and delivery channels.
- Geographic locations and operating areas.
- Customers.
The assessment may identify high-risk situations. In those cases, Funcrash may apply additional controls and closer monitoring.
The risk assessment does not remain fixed. Funcrash updates it as risks change over time.
When Funcrash classifies a customer as high risk, the company applies more frequent monitoring. Funcrash also updates the customer’s identity information more often and may apply other enhanced measures.
Funcrash completes an initial risk assessment when a new customer relationship begins. It also reviews existing relationships on an ongoing basis.
15.4 Customer and Business Risk
15.4.1 Products and Services
Funcrash identifies products and services that may create a higher risk of money laundering or terrorist financing.
Services that move or convert assets into, through, or out of the financial system may create higher risk. Financial regulators, government bodies, and other reliable sources may also identify certain services as high risk.
Examples include:
- Wire transactions.
- Transactions involving third parties.
- Relationships that do not involve face-to-face contact.
15.4.2 Geographic Locations and Operating Areas
Some geographic locations create a higher risk of money laundering or terrorist financing. The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), Transparency International, and other reliable sources identify such risks.
Funcrash treats customers from, or linked to, the following locations as high risk:
- Countries subject to sanctions, embargoes, or similar measures.
- Countries that reliable sources identify as supporting terrorist activity or hosting designated terrorist organisations.
- Countries known as tax havens or significant sources of narcotics or other serious criminal activity.
- Countries that FATF identifies as non-cooperative in the fight against money laundering or terrorist financing.
- Countries subject to an FATF statement.
- Countries that reliable sources identify as lacking suitable AML or CFT laws.
- Countries that show significant levels of corruption.
Funcrash does not provide services to individuals in countries included on its list of nations subject to comprehensive international sanctions.
15.4.3 Customer Relationships
KYC requires Funcrash to understand each customer. It covers more than identity checks and record keeping.
Funcrash also reviews customer activities, transaction patterns, and account usage.
Relevant risk factors may include:
- The length of the customer relationship.
- Requests to carry out large transactions.
- Regulatory or enforcement concerns.
- Multiple complaints from online sources.
- Difficulty verifying the customer’s identity.
- Political exposure or links to a politically exposed person.
Funcrash assigns each customer a low, medium, or high risk rating for money laundering and terrorist financing.
The initial rating may change after a later review. It may also change as the customer relationship develops.
Funcrash adjusts customer due diligence to match the current risk rating. For every high-risk customer, Funcrash applies enhanced due diligence immediately.
15.4.4 Regulatory Risk
Regulatory risk arises when a company fails to meet its legal duties.
Examples include:
- Failing to identify a customer correctly.
- Providing inadequate staff training.
- Failing to maintain an AML and CFT programme.
- Failing to report suspicious transactions.
- Operating without an MLRO.
- Failing to maintain complete customer records.
15.4.5 Compliance Training
Funcrash provides compliance training for relevant employees and people who act on behalf of the company.
The training helps staff understand:
- Customer identification duties.
- Reporting duties.
- Record-keeping duties.
- Customer transaction activity.
- The proper handling of customer funds.
Every new Funcrash employee completes AML and CFT training within the first three months of employment. Customer-facing staff complete the training before they contact customers.
Funcrash delivers the current training through a customised electronic course on a learning management system.
The MLRO reviews and updates the programme when requirements change. Each course includes a test. Participants must pass the test before Funcrash marks the training as complete.
Existing employees receive follow-up training on current and new AML requirements. Funcrash provides this training regularly and at least once within one year of the employee’s previous training.
If an employee fails to show a full understanding through the online test, Funcrash provides specialised one-to-one training.
The MLRO and Human Resources department keep records of assigned and completed training. Funcrash retains these records for five years.
The training matches each employee’s role. The MLRO reviews staff duties and arranges suitable customised training when necessary.
At a minimum, the training covers the legal, identity-check, reporting, monitoring, and record-keeping duties that apply to each employee’s role.
15.5 Minimum KYC Standards
Funcrash maintains standards for Know Your Customer requirements.
These standards require due diligence for every prospective customer before Funcrash begins a business relationship. The process includes identity identification and verification.
Where relevant, Funcrash also verifies representatives and beneficial owners. The company uses documents, data, or information from reliable and independent sources.
Funcrash follows domestic and European AML and CFT laws and regulations.
The KYC process begins with the customer’s identity documents. Funcrash combines those documents with other information to apply its Customer Acceptance Policy.
Certain personal or account factors may create additional concern. Funcrash reviews these factors carefully.
KYC relies on current information, not only on information collected at registration. Therefore, Funcrash monitors and reviews the customer throughout the relationship.
15.5.1 Customer Identification and Verification
Funcrash identifies customers when a commercial relationship begins. This step supports both AML compliance and the KYC process.
Funcrash follows two basic principles:
- Funcrash identifies every individual customer with original supporting documents. For a legal entity, Funcrash identifies each relevant individual.
- Funcrash records the documents in a centralised system.
15.5.2 Risk Profile Calculation
Funcrash calculates a compliance risk profile when the customer relationship begins.
The profile classifies the customer as low, medium, or high risk. Funcrash then recalculates the profile each day.
15.5.3 Customer Acceptance Policy
15.5.3.1 Customer Identification
Customer identification confirms the existence and identity of the individual who maintains a relationship with Funcrash.
The process also collects supporting identity information.
Funcrash may:
- Confirm the individual’s identity through official documents.
- Compare the customer’s name with government watch lists.
- Check whether the customer qualifies as a politically exposed person (PEP).
- Determine whether a third party acts for the customer.
- Review reliable public information, including adverse media and social media.
- Review the customer’s background and reputation.
- Keep records of all collected information and documents.
15.5.3.2 Customer Identification Information
The following requirements normally apply to individuals who maintain a relationship with Funcrash.
Funcrash may request more information when the risk assessment identifies a higher risk of money laundering or terrorist financing. The company may also increase the level of verification.
If a standard verification check creates uncertainty about identity, Funcrash may require additional matching information. The MLRO reviews and receives reports about such concerns.
A customer who cannot provide primary identification may not maintain an account. Funcrash records the reason for the missing document.
All documents must remain current:
- Passports and driving licences must remain valid and unexpired.
- Utility bills must carry a date from within the previous three months.
Funcrash asks every customer whether they act personally or on behalf of another person. If another person remains involved, the customer must provide that person’s details.
Acceptable Identity Evidence
Photo identification
Funcrash may accept:
- A valid passport.
- A valid photo driving licence, whether full or provisional.
- A national identity card.
Non-photo identification
Funcrash may accept documents from a government department that show the individual’s name and residential address or date of birth.
Examples include:
- Court appointment documents, such as probate or bankruptcy documents.
- A current council tax demand or statement.
- A bank statement or credit or debit card statement from within the previous three months. The statement must come from a regulated financial institution in the UK, EU, or an equivalent jurisdiction.
- A recent gas, water, electricity, or telephone bill. The document must show a bill or account statement, not general correspondence.
- A solicitor’s letter that confirms a recent house purchase or land sale at the previous address.
Funcrash does not accept an internet-printed statement on its own. The customer must provide a secondary check, such as a telephone directory reference, where necessary.
The MLRO, or a person acting under the MLRO’s supervision, checks the evidence. Funcrash records the checks that support the identity decision.
Photo ID checks
Funcrash may check:
- Whether the photo resembles the customer.
- Whether the date of birth matches the customer’s apparent age.
- Whether the document remains valid.
- Whether the name matches other documents supplied by the customer.
Secondary ID checks
Funcrash may check:
- Whether the address matches the address on the photo ID.
- Whether the name matches the name on the photo ID.
15.5.3.3 Verification Triggers
Funcrash verifies the customer’s identity when linked account transactions reach the equivalent of €2,000.
Funcrash may also verify identity when it classifies a customer as high risk during registration.
The main trigger involves one transaction, or several connected transactions, that reach or exceed €2,000. This threshold can apply when the customer adds or withdraws funds.
Funcrash treats transactions as connected when the same customer completes them during one website session or within 48 hours.
In every case, Funcrash sends a notification that explains how to upload the required documents. Dedicated staff manually review every document that a customer supplies.
Other events may also trigger identity verification:
- The customer requests a withdrawal to an account that differs from the original funding account. Funcrash removes the requested amount from the available balance but does not process the transfer until identity verification finishes.
- The customer makes five or more funding transactions within one hour.
- Staff identify suspicious funding patterns.
- The customer uses three or more payment methods within one week.
- The registration country differs from the IP address location. Funcrash may allow continued account access, but it does not process withdrawals until verification finishes.
- The customer adds funds worth more than €5,000.
Funcrash keeps copies of all documents used for identity verification.
15.5.3.4 Additional Documents
Funcrash may request extra documents to confirm account activity or understand transaction patterns.
These documents may include:
- Proof of bank account: A screenshot or bank statement that shows the customer’s name, IBAN, and bank name. Funcrash may request this document when the customer requests a bank withdrawal.
- Proof of payment card: A photo or copy of the card front, or a bank statement that shows the card details and customer name. Funcrash may request this document after identifying unusual funding patterns.
- Protected card details: Customers may hide some card details to protect card security. However, the customer’s name and the first and last four digits of the card number must remain visible.
- Bank statements and payslips: Funcrash may request these documents when account activity raises concern or when external information does not support the amounts involved. High-volume customers may need to provide evidence that explains the source of the funds used for account activity.
15.5.3.5 Impersonation Risk Controls
Funcrash may apply extra identity checks under its risk-based approach.
These checks may include:
- Requiring the first payment from an account held in the customer’s name with an EU or EEA-regulated credit institution, or an equivalent institution.
- Verifying additional details linked to the customer’s identity or electronic footprint.
- Contacting the customer by phone before account opening.
- Using a verified home or business telephone number.
- Calling the customer before allowing further transactions.
- Confirming additional personal details supplied during account registration.
15.5.3.6 Keeping Information Current
After Funcrash confirms a customer’s identity, the customer does not normally need to repeat the full process.
However, Funcrash repeats the identification process when doubts arise about the information on record.
Funcrash may review customer documents and update them when necessary. A change of name, for example, requires the customer to provide new identification documents.
16. Funcrash Terms and Conditions: Safety and Use
This section forms part of the FunCrash Terms of Use and FunCrash User Agreement. It also supports the FunCrash Platform Rules and FunCrash Website Policies. These rules cover fraud, responsible account activity, intellectual property, licences, and customer conduct.
Fraud and Misconduct
Funcrash may seek criminal and contractual remedies against any customer involved in fraud, dishonesty, or criminal conduct.
When Funcrash suspects such conduct, it may withhold related payments while it investigates the matter.
The customer must reimburse Funcrash on request for all costs, charges, and losses that result directly or indirectly from the customer’s fraud, dishonesty, or criminal conduct.
These losses may include:
- Direct losses.
- Indirect or consequential losses.
- Loss of profit.
- Loss of business.
- Damage to reputation.
17. Responsible Account Activity Policy
Funcrash promotes responsible account activity and raises awareness of harmful or excessive behaviour. The company also supports prevention, early intervention, and professional treatment.
This Responsible Account Activity Policy explains how Funcrash reduces potential harm. It also explains how the company supports informed and controlled use of its services.
Funcrash offers adults a range of entertainment products. The company also accepts responsibility for its product range.
Funcrash aims to provide a secure and reliable service for adults. Its products should remain clear and safe. Customers should use them within their financial limits.
Integrity, fairness, and reliability guide Funcrash’s operations. Therefore, Funcrash works to reduce problems linked to excessive account activity.
At the same time, Funcrash respects adults who use its services as a form of entertainment.
Responsible account activity at Funcrash rests on three principles:
- Customer security.
- Service security.
- Protection from harmful dependency.
Funcrash works with research bodies, associations, and therapy institutions. Together, these organisations support a responsible and secure environment.
Customer Security
Funcrash accepts responsibility for customer security. Customer protection includes the following measures:
- Preventing minors from accessing the Service.
- Protecting personal information.
- Handling customer funds responsibly.
- Monitoring fairness and random outcomes through independent organisations.
- Using clear and responsible marketing communication.
Funcrash does not promise more than customers can reasonably expect. The company aims to communicate in a transparent way.
Protection from Harmful Dependency
Most customers use sports-related services and other entertainment products in moderation. However, some ordinary activities can become harmful for certain people.
These activities may include shopping, sport, food consumption, or alcohol use. Account activity may also create problems for a small group of customers.
Funcrash may block further access when a customer shows signs of harmful dependency. The company may also provide contact details for organisations that offer professional advice and support.
Personal responsibility remains the strongest form of prevention.
Each customer decides whether to use the Service and how much money to allocate. Customers remain responsible for those decisions.
Funcrash supports customers through:
- Clear product information.
- Transparent service details.
- Responsible account tools.
- A clear code of conduct.
Protection of Minors
Funcrash does not allow anyone below 18 to access its adult services. The customer must confirm their age and date of birth during registration.
Funcrash treats access by minors as a serious matter. Parents and caregivers also support the protection of minors.
Parents and caregivers should keep account access details, including the user ID and password, secure.
Funcrash also recommends suitable filtering software. Such software can restrict access to online resources that may not suit children or teenagers.
Support for Customers at Risk
Funcrash provides entertainment products for most customers. However, the company recognises the risks linked to excessive or harmful account activity.
Some customers may struggle to assess risks or recognise personal limits. Others may develop a dependency that prevents responsible use of the Service.
Funcrash may block access for such customers. The company takes this step to protect the customer.
Recognising the Main Risks
Most customers use the Service for enjoyment. Moderate use within personal financial limits may remain suitable for many adults.
However, account activity can become a serious concern for a small percentage of people.
What Is Harmful Account Activity?
Harmful account activity affects a person’s lifestyle, work, finances, health, or family.
Extended or uncontrolled activity may create serious negative consequences.
In 1980, international classification systems recognised pathological playing as a psychological disorder under DSM-IV and ICD-10.
The condition involves a long-term, recurring, and increasingly compulsive urge to continue playing despite harmful personal and social effects.
These effects may include:
- Debt.
- Family breakdown.
- Career problems.
- Damage to personal wellbeing.
When Can Dependency Become a Concern?
Only a qualified professional can diagnose an addiction. This information helps customers review their own account behaviour.
Non-substance dependencies can remain difficult to recognise. People may confuse pleasure with dependency.
The following signs may indicate a serious problem. The risk may increase when a person experiences at least five signs:
- The person thinks about account activity most of the time.
- The person increases the amount used over time.
- The person cannot stop or control the activity.
- The person feels irritated or disappointed when trying to reduce activity.
- The person uses the activity to escape problems or emotional discomfort.
- The person tries to recover previous losses.
- The person lies about their account activity.
- The person commits illegal acts to support the activity.
- The person damages family, work, or social relationships.
- The person borrows money to continue the activity.
Responsible Use Guidelines
The following guidelines support controlled use of the Service:
- Use the Service only when calm and focused.
